When it comes driving there are very few people who will follow traffic and related rules. Now according to a new case study done by GasBuddy it seems like Californians are not good drivers. Yesterday GasBuddy revealed a list of most aggressive drivers in country and Californians had topped that list. GasBuddy looked at the data of more than 30 metropolitan cities in which they categorized the drivers using their aggressive behaviors in driving. USA is that country which is famous for owning cars and other vehicles also that’s why many automobile companies earn a massive amount of money from US market.
GasBuddy looked into its app and categories various cities according to behavior of drivers, and Los Angeles has been ranked as the city of most aggressive drivers’. Other three cities which included in this list of top ten aggressive drivers are: Sacramento ranked third, San Francisco ranked fifth, and San Diego ranked sixth. It seems like Californians are pretty much aggressive when it comes to driving a vehicle.
Aggressive driving is not good for driver’s financially because driving a car at high speed will lower the gas mileage by more than forty percent. In other words, aggressive drivers are paying $477 extra per year in fuel consumption because of their lousy driving skill. Experts think those cities which are congested will put mental pressure on drivers and that’s why people living in such an environment will drive aggressively. One interesting fact which we found is that these are the same cities in USA which has the highest gas prices as compared to other cities. Researchers found that most of the times aggressive driving happened during Friday since many people will be driving home from their work to enjoy a happy weekend.
