Upcoming Pokemon games for Nintendo Switch consoles are no longer a secret as the company has announced the names of the forthcoming games. According to Nintendo, the two Nintendo games are named as Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. These games will represent the Generation 8 of Nintendo Switch users and will be released somewhere in the Late 2019’s. These games were announced in Nintendo Direct for Pokemon Day by the company officials. The Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are Pokemon games with different Pokemon, Maps and missions.
These two games are set in the new region which is named as “Galar” ingame. The Galar region resembles that of Great Britain. In the Nintendo Direct presentation, the three starter creatures shown and named as grass monkey named Grookey, a fire bunny named Scorbunny, and a sad water lizard, Sobble. Players can start playing with these creatures in a first few levels and missions. Nintendo showed the exact gameplay, but the same was not detailed and was incomplete. The game is directed and designed by Shigeru Ohmori, who is a veteran Pokemon games developer for Nintendo consoles.
Shigeru Ohmori is no stranger to Pokemon Games for Nintendo Switch consoles. He has worked on several games, but notably the Sun and Moon, which is still one of the most popular games for the Nintendo consoles. In the teaser released by Nintendo and Pokemon company, we can spot a few new titles that the companies might be working on. It was a long time when Pokemon Company announced that they are working on new games to the console gamers. They announced the same in 2017, and it took nearly two years for the announcement, and the games will be released to the public in Late 2019 or even early 2020. February 27th was the Pokemon Day and all of the generation one pokemon creatures will spawn more frequently along with shiny versions of Pidgey and Rattata for all of the Pokemon series games.
